So who is Emilie Autumn?

So you know what this site it about, and you know what its intent is, but who exactly is this woman?  Emilie Autumn is a singer, composer, writer and many more things included.  Although it is pretty much impossible to find a genure that her music fits into, she made one up herself.  It is called one of two things by her muffins, either violinindustrial or victorianindustrial.  Personaly I prefre Victorianindustrial, but only really because thats thats what I heard it called first.  It's actually pretty hard to explain Emilie's sound, but clicking on the links below should give you an idea.

Emilie also plays a violin, both classical, and... not classical.  Sh uses an electric violin in performances, which is basically a violin with a massive amp plugged in.  It sounds a bit like an electric guitar, but its sound is s bit dirtier, if you know what I mean.  Anyway,

She also plays something called a harpsichord which is like a smaller piano but its sound it compleaatly different, here's a link to it by itself


But I think the best sound is when she plays the harpsichord and electric violin together.  She obviously cant play both at the same time, so here's a link with one of her crumpets playing the harpsichord and Emilie rocking her Violin.
