EA currently has 5 albums and 4 EP (extended plays) in the public domain, however only the most recent are easily available. As Emilie was originally a classical violin player, her music has only really turned more hard core in the past few albums, her orriginals were far more classical or main stream. Emilie’s first album released was called On a Day and became available for the public in 1999-2000. Her second album called Enchant was released in early 2003, although several of its songs were available on the Chambermaid EP. The EP is thought of as a single to the Enchant album, even though it was released before it. This part of her career is known as the Enchant Era. Her next release was the EP Opheliac, which is well known because the more recent re released album. She called it documentation of a life changing and life ending experience. Her third EP called Liar/Dead is the New Alive was released in 2006; it contains several songs from Opheliac and some new material. Her double album titled laced/unlaced was released in early 2007. Unlaced is her metal shredding electric violin piece and Laced is a re release of her Album On a Day as she felt they went perfectly together to show the then and now. This is generally taken to mean before she was admitted to the psych ward and after this... experience. Her next album was called A Bit O' This & That and is a compilation album of covers of songs by other artist and old songs from years ago. Her 4th EP 4 O’Clock is a mixture of other songs some of which appear in other albums (such as the song 4 O'Clock itself), was released in 2008. Her final and latest album for now is Opheliac, this was re released as it was originally only available inside the US as an import. She is currently working on her next album named Fight like a Girl, which is due to be released any day now. Emilie has had to re release so many of her albums and EP because she changed recording company and has to make her music available to everyone easily.
Her music has spanned so many genres that it is impossible to predict what her music will be next tomorrow, or when her next album comes out, but you can be guaranteed something, it will always be raw, meaningful, personal, and, in my opinion, amazing. EA knows that the public don't want to be catered for, we want whats real, and EA will always supply that.
